A United Church of Christ in Richland, Pennsylvania

Rose, Christ Church in Richland, PA

Tulpehocken UCC, believes in salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Located in Richland, Pennsylvania, we are a United Church of Christ in the rural area between Reading and Lebanon. Our neighbors include family farms, produce stands, a trout hatchery, and lots of friendly people.

We affirm the creeds passed down to us from those in the faith who came before us.

Celebrating a Proud Heritage
Although we are proud of our heritage, we are also optimistic about our future. We are a welcoming church committed to spreading the word and love of God to the local community and to the world.

The congregation was established in 1727 and with the help of Caspar Wistar accumulated the land to get started. The Wistar family receives one red rose every year for the recognition of the help. This ceremony occurs on the second Sunday of June at the church, during the worship service and is followed by a meal of fellowship.
